Terms of Service

Effective June 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PointFlow (the “Service”), a planning-poker and agile estimation tool that integrates with Atlassian Jira. By creating an account, connecting Jira, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The service

PointFlow lets a facilitator create estimation sessions, import issues from Jira, collect hidden votes from participants, reveal them, agree on an estimate, and sync the selected value back to Jira. Features may change over time. Guests may join sessions by link without an account.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Facilitators sign in with their Atlassian account via OAuth. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your Atlassian credentials. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Jira data and your responsibility

When you connect Jira, you grant PointFlow permission to read the issues you choose to import and to write the agreed estimate to the Jira field you select. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and modify that data, and for the accuracy of estimates written back to Jira.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data that is not yours, disrupting the Service, reverse-engineering it, reselling it without permission, or using it to violate any law or third-party right.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed per facilitator on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Kelviq, which acts as the merchant of record. By upgrading you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

PointFlow and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. You retain all rights to your data. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates written to Jira will always succeed. Story points are a relative measure of effort and are provided for planning purposes only.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PointFlow and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your sessions or disconnect Jira at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
